Our Vision
Very Special Arts California works to ensure that people with disabilities have access to the arts and that schools, hospitals, elder care facilities, and business communities provide education, career training, and support in the art —through which children and adults with disabilties can improve their skills and enrich their lives.
Our Mission
Very Special Arts California promotes the creative power of the arts in the lives of people with disabilities, primarily through provision of technical and financial support for Very Special Arts California programs in both educational and community settings, public outreach, and advocacy. The goal is to facilitate community awareness, access to the arts, and a greater understanding of the power of the arts to change lives.
