Open Letter to Artists with Disabilities
Dear Artist,
VSA arts California is now under the leadership of a new Executive Director, Alice Parente, and a new Board of Directors. In our continuing effort to be helpful and supportive to artists in our community, VSA arts of California began the VSA Artists Community which provides opportunities to artists with disabiltiies within the state of California.

- A way for artists to connect with each other
- A source of information on how to market your art to galleries
- A source of information about events and happenings in the arts community
- A source of information about issues and advocacy concerning artists with disabilities
How can I become part of the VSA Artists Community?

VSA arts of California realizes that being an artist is a challenging way for a person with disabilities to become economically self-sufficient. Therefore there is no fee for becoming a VSA Artists Community member and no commission will be taken from the sale of any artwork. The staff and Board of Directors of VSA arts of California welcomes you to the VSA Artists Community and looks forward to your submissions to the on-line gallery.
